Dr.Pechman specializes in General Orthopedic Surgery. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and obtained his Undergraduate Degree from U.C.L.A.. He then entered the PHD. Program in Chemistry at Florida State University, but left the Program after several years to persue a M.D. Degree at the University of Miami.He then trained as a General Surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca. where he did some early work with Excimer Lasers in Arthroscopy. He re-entered the research world persuing a PHD. in Pharmacology at New York Medical College where he worked simultaneously as a Genereal Practioner in Scarsdale, New York and as an Emergency Room Physician on the Faculty of Medicine of New York Medical College. He was awarded an Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation Grant in conjunction with his Phd. work to study Prostangladins, Leukptrienes and Thromboxanes in their roles for cartilage re-generation.He re-entered the residency program and completed an Orthopedic Residency at New York Medical College. He then completed a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at Loma Linda University. He began practice at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he served on the Trauma Panel for 10 years.Dr.Pechman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and has done General Orthopedic Surgery for the last 15 years including upper and lower extremities, joint replacements, spine surgery and Sports Medicine.

Dr.Pechman has completed a new book called "South Bronx ER" where young Doctors battle to save lives in the South Bronx and fight against a corrupt medical establishment.
Dr.Pechman spoke at the California Applicant Attorneys Rating Course in San Diego, California on December 4, 2010 on Lower Extremity Impairment Ratings.
Dr.Pechmans reporting on the Blackledge Case was used as an "en banc" decision that instructs all parties on the various duties and roles in Workmans Compensation reporting.
Dr.Pechman has served as an Agreed Medical Evaluator for 10 years and in that capacity has helped patients and Attorneys. He is a member of The California Attorneys Association, The Applicant Attorneys Association and has served as an instructor and given Rating classes to Attorneys and Doctors over the years.
Dr.Pechman has an Orthopedic Practice that is involved in the treatment of General Orthopedic Conditions of the spine, foot, knee, hip, and shoulder. He has done hip and knee replacement surgery including Sports Medicine and spine. He has a particular interest in complex cases that are difficult to diagnose and treat. In terms of complex cases he recommends both Allopathic and Homeopathic including surgery but will also recommend Pilates, Accupuncture, Chiropractic and more Holistic treatments depending on the condition.
